"There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth...not going all the way, and not starting." - Buddha

"
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me." - Hunter S. Thompson

I believe that the second quote will be more relevant to the preceding jumbled assortment of rantings and ravings that even a saint would grudgingly call a "craft beer blog."

(Beer. It's addicted to you)

This is the "aughts" and disclaimers are edging up on the 'death and taxes' inevitability list. I figured that erring on the side of caution would be the kosher thing to do:

  1. Bad words, cursing, and colorful metaphors will be used - While I try my best to eschew cursing in my posts, a few unpleasantries will inevitably rear their ugly heads when I'm trying to drive home a particularly juicy point.
  2. Memes and somewhat controversial images will be used - I like using pictures to interject hilarity into my posts - especially memes - and a lot of the time they will be lolcats-esque at best and offensive at worst. I neither condone, nor endorse any message or idea an image will provoke. However, twisted people like me will probably find the pictures hilarious and will instill the "oh man, I'm going to hell for laughing at this" feeling. Fair warning.
  3. Beer snobs and B.A.'holes beware - Beer is fun. I will treat beer as a means to "have fun." One reason this beer blog was started was to take back craft beer from beer snobs one post at a time. If you are offended that I treat craft beer as something to enjoy rather than to ridicule unenlightened people about, then I am truly sorry. I will most likely make fun of you in return out of abject pity.
Hopefully I haven't driven you all away out of boredom. Let's get to the fun stuff.
